On November 14, 2018 SEF signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sindh Reading Program (SRP) thereby formalizing a mutual intention to collaborate for the promotion of Information and Communications Technology (ICT)-based Assessments in Foundation (SEF) assisted schools. The MoU was signed by Managing Director-SEF, Ms. Naheed Shah Durrani and Chief of Party-SRP, Mr. Andrew Lewis at SEF’s Head Office in Karachi.
SRP will help SEF develop capacity to effectively manage and implement an ICT-based assessment system using the customized version of Tangerine, developed under SRP, in classrooms so that teachers can have empirical data for required review and refinement in teaching materials and instructions. The collaboration is expected to contribute towards improving the reading outcomes of the students.
