On 2nd March 2018 a brief session was held to have a dialogue on education at Lincolns’ Inn Pakistan. This session was attended by notable personalities who have been serving in the sector of education among them was Ms. Naheed Shah Durrani, Managing Director Sindh Education Foundation, Govt. of Sindh and some of our school partners.
Managing Director SEF briefed the audience regarding SEF highlighted the journey of SEF and the reforms introduced after 2015 which include improved school infrastructure, quality of education, introduction of new programs and projects. She also spoke about the role of the government and private sector in propagation of education. Our partners shared their success stories and the challenges they faced during this journey. Presentations containing pictures of the schools before and after 2015 reforms were also shared with the audience.
Other topics that came under discussion included quality of education, need for trained teachers, girls’ education and a need for uniform educational system for all. The speakers were also of the opinion that the private and public sector need to come together to work for promotion of education. The discussion was followed by a question answer session. It was suggested that more of such thought provoking sessions should be organized.
